V2 Rebuild & Redesign

I learned React when I built the first version of this site. This next version will provide an opportunity to learn once again. And this time, I plan to share as I go.

Over-engineered on purpose

Look. I know this site is little more than a simple blog. As such, it doesn’t need a bunch of the stuff listed below. But:

1. I’m using the experience to both learn and share.
2. I’m challenging myself to build and maintain a ~complex~ sophisticated site without losing focus on the people that visit (performance, accessibility, etc.).
3. The beauty of a personal site is you can do whatever you want.
